1. General & Our Services
Solwr Software AS (legal name: Solwr Software AS) developed Trace Transport, Trace Supplier, Trace Cargo and Trace SMS (hereafter referred to as the «Trace applications» or «our services») as commercial applications. We deliver the Trace apps to be used as is. This policy describes how we collect, use, and store personal information.
2. Categories of Personal Information and Purpose
We process information to maintain, improve, and secure our services. Accounts are managed by team leaders via a web backend.
- Identity & Contact: Name, Username, Login ID and Email address.
- Workflow & Visual Data: Digitalized signature and images/photos captured via the camera (e.g., for proof of delivery or documentation).
- Technical Tokens: FMC (Firebase Cloud Messaging) tokens for authentication and notifications.
- Data Log: In the event of an error, we collect diagnostic data including your IP address, device name, OS version, and usage statistics.

To provide full functionality, the Trace apps may request access to:
- Camera: Required to take photos for documentation or to scan barcodes/QR codes.
- Storage: Required to temporarily store captured images or documents.

- GDPR Art. 6 (1) (b): Performance of the user contract.
- GDPR Art. 6 (1) (c): Compliance with the Norwegian Accounting Act (bokføringsloven).
7. Data Retention & Deletion
Data is stored until you terminate the use of the Trace apps. Data subject to the Norwegian Accounting Act is stored for 5 years.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Trace apps are not intended for use by children under 17. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 17.
9. Your Rights
